Our Triple Border Tour is designed for those who want to experience the Amazon from the inside out - living along the river, connecting with local communities, and venturing deep into the forest through immersive, hands-on activities.
Over six days, you will explore the unique region where Brazil, Colombia, and Peru meet, moving through remote waterways and small riverside communities while discovering one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth.
This journey is not about observation alone, but about participation — experiencing the rhythms of life in the Amazon firsthand.
Based in a local community near the Javari River, you can choose between staying in a local riverside-community house, offering an authentic and intimate connection to the region, or in a near-by local hotel.
Days are shaped by a variety of activities, including jungle hikes, canoeing through flooded forests, boat excursions, and night walks — each designed to bring you closer to the wildlife and environment.
Wildlife encounters are diverse and unpredictable, ranging from monkeys, birds, and river dolphins to insects, amphibians, and nocturnal species.
At the same time, cultural experiences — such as visiting local towns, learning about traditional practices, and engaging with the community — add a human dimension to the journey.
The tour ends in Leticia, with the possibility of continuing to Manaus by boat, or concluding the experience locally depending on your travel plans - offering flexibility while maintaining a seamless overall experience.
You will be accompanied by experienced local guides throughout your stay, ensuring a safe, enriching, and deeply immersive journey into the Amazon.
