Our Full Pantanal Tour is designed for those who want to fully immerse themselves in one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth — with extended time in the northern Pantanal for a deeper, more complete wildlife experience.
Over six days, you will explore a carefully crafted route along the Transpantaneira and into the remote river systems of Porto Jofre, allowing you to experience different environments while maximizing wildlife encounters.
Your stay at the beginning of the journey will be in one of our selected lodges at the entrance of the Transpantaneira - all offering excellent access to rich wildlife areas and an authentic Pantanal atmosphere.
Your days begin with land safaris through open wetlands and savannas, where safari trucks take you deep into the landscape in search of mammals, reptiles, and an extraordinary diversity of birdlife, both during the day and at night.
As the journey unfolds, you will continue north towards Porto Jofre, where the experience shifts to the water. Here, long boat safaris place you at the heart of jaguar territory, navigating rivers where wildlife gathers and interactions unfold naturally along the banks.
This extended itinerary allows for a slower, more immersive rhythm — giving you the time to truly connect with the environment, observe animal behavior, and adapt each day to the conditions of the wild.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in the Pantanal
Your journey begins in Cuiabá with a morning pick-up from the airport or your hotel, followed by a transfer along the Transpantaneira into the northern Pantanal.
You will stay in one of our selected lodges at the entrance of the Transpantaneira — all offering excellent access to wildlife-rich areas.
After arrival and a short introduction, you will enjoy lunch before heading out on your first afternoon safari by truck, exploring the surrounding wetlands and savannas.
After dinner, a night safari reveals a completely different side of the ecosystem, where nocturnal species become active and the Pantanal comes alive in a new way.

Day 2 – Exploring the Transpantaneira
A full day dedicated to exploring the rich environments surrounding your lodge.
Morning and afternoon safaris by truck will take you deeper along the Transpantaneira and its surrounding tracks, where wildlife sightings often include mammals, reptiles, and a remarkable diversity of birdlife.
Between activities, you will return to the lodge for meals and rest, maintaining a balanced rhythm that allows you to fully enjoy each experience.
After dinner, another night safari offers further opportunities to observe elusive nocturnal species.
Day 3 – Journey to Porto Jofre
After an early breakfast, you will continue your journey north along the Transpantaneira towards Porto Jofre, one of the most remote and wildlife-rich areas of the Pantanal.
Arriving around midday, you will check into your lodge or boat hotel and have lunch before heading out for your first afternoon boat safari.
This marks the transition from land-based exploration to river safaris, where wildlife is observed along the riverbanks in a completely different and often more intimate setting.
Day 4 – Full Day in Jaguar Territory
An early start leads into a full day on the river, with a packed lunch to maximize your time in the field.
You will navigate the intricate waterways of Porto Jofre, widely regarded as the best place in the world to observe jaguars in the wild. Your guide will track wildlife activity and explore areas where animals are most frequently seen.
Throughout the day, you will encounter a wide range of species, including giant otters, capybaras, caimans, and an abundance of birdlife — all within one of the most dynamic ecosystems on Earth.
Day 5 – Extended River Safari and Return to
the Transpantaneira
The day begins once again on the river, offering additional time to deepen your experience in jaguar territory and increase your chances of meaningful wildlife encounters.
In the afternoon, you will begin your journey back along the Transpantaneira, returning to one of our selected lodges (Pousada Piuval or Pouso Alegre, depending on logistics and availability).
After arrival, dinner will be served at the lodge, where you can relax and reflect on the intensity of the previous days.
Day 6 - Final Safari and Return to Cuiabá
Your final day begins early with breakfast, followed by a last morning safari — a final opportunity to experience the Pantanal’s landscapes and wildlife.
After returning to the lodge for lunch, you will depart for Cuiabá in the early afternoon, arriving in the late afternoon and concluding your Full Pantanal adventure.
